Places to go

If you are looking for a water sports there are many options. You can go swimming at any of the local beaches or for a real treat take a trip to Buck Island where the beach is beautiful and the snorkeling is unrivaled. It is just a short boat ride to enjoy a swim and snorkeling off the beach or the boat.

If you dive visit Cane Bay Beach on the north side of the island best know for "the wall" a favorite for divers from all over the world.  While you are there across the street from the beach is EAT at Cane Bay. A fabulous restaurant with delectible entrees at dinner time or enjoy some lighter fare at lunch.

DONT miss the Domino Club in the Rainforest on the West side. Norma makes a mean chicken and most anything else. This is the home of the Beer drinking pigs. If you want to feed them a non alcoholic beer just ask your waiter. On the North east end of the island is the Carambola hotel and golf course. It's a great place to spend a day on the golf course or the beach.

On the EAST SIDE of the island is the Divi hotel and casino and it also has a miniature golf course and the casino has live music most nights. As you head into Christiansted you will see the Reef condo and Golf Course complex. As you head into town stop at Ziggys roadside bar for a drink.

While on island visit the Buccaneer hotel and golf course. This magestic old hotel is something to see. Spend a day on their fabulous beach with a beach bar and grill and evenings enjoy the fine dining and entertainment. It has all the old world charm you expect plus all the modern conveniences, comforts and technology you require.

Places to eat

There are dozens of places all over the island with great food, entertainment and atmosphere. Some of our favorites are:

BLUE WATER TERRACE - From Fried chicken to Caribbean Lobster and delicious beef raised on the island everything is wonderful and they have some of the most decadent desserts you have ever tasted.

DUGGANS - Try the Whiskey lobster - their specialty - plus they serve lots of fresh fish, chicken and steaks. Sit out on the deck and watch the day fade away.

CHRISTIANSTED AND THE BOARD WALK- there are several restaurants and local pubs to eat and drink on the boardwalk. From Rum Runners to Angry Nates and one of our favorites No Bones Cafe in Schooner Bay. It is a great place for dinner, drinks and to watch a ball game. Don't miss Blues Barbecue just a couple of miles from from the condo with great food, good music, drinks and the staff is a lot of fun. They will make you feel right at home.

There are lots of great little shops and wonderful restaurants housed in some of the historic buildings along the waterfront. Visit the park on the waterfront and the pier area and go north of historic Fredricksted to enjoy the island's magnificent views that surround you. Don't miss the opportunity to have a sunset dinner on the beach at one of the local restaurants north of town. The Sunsets on the west side of the island are  breathtaking.
